Carrier 20 Group
Carrier 20 Group is made up of Carrier Transicold dealers across the U.S. Each of them own their own Carrier Transicold franchise and, therefore, have their own inventory of parts. They wanted a way in which they could buy and sell parts from and to the dealers within the Carrier 20 Group. So we developed an inventory database and web-based application that allows the dealers to search for the parts they need. Initially, we loaded up each of the dealers parts information from Excel spreadsheets to populate the database. From there the dealers maintain their own facility's information and parts online. A dealer is able to search on the part number and contact one of the dealers who have the item in stock.
The Carrier 20 Group wish to control access to this web application so we built in user authentication. A userid and password is necessary for accessing this site. A temporary guest login may be provided.
